Forgot to mention that I moved back to Lund again (fifth move in four years? don't think I'll stay here too long either). Address here. I'm scraping together some money for my next release(s). "It's gonna go good."

Crowpath are touring the U.K. right now, check their site for dates. Recording of their new album will commence in August, Willowtip/Earache will release this one too. Red on Chrome was recently issued on vinyl and it's dreamy.
Collections of Colonies of Bees tour of the U.K. was cancelled, sorry to say. They're also working on new material to be released as a LP+12" by Beta-Lactam Ring.
Jon Mueller of said band released a solo CD on his own Crouton imprint a couple of months ago.

It looks like I'm going to release an actual, factual, genuine record with one of my favourite dudes this summer. It will probably be a very limited affair so sign up for the mailinglist for first dibs. Seriously. In other news, I'm eagerly awaiting the second season of Home Movies to come out on dvd in May.

Mitch Hedberg - You will be missed.

The Collections of Colonies of Bees - Customer CDs and LPs are in stock now! I've got all variations but there's not many copies of each so if you don't own it/them already - what the hell are you waiting for? Ten seconds after I put on the CD our cat started clawing at the speakers. If that's not a good review I don't know what is. Here's my picks for best albums in 2004, in no particular order:

Deerhoof - Milk man
Q and not U - Power
The Unicorns - Who will cut our hair...
Mirah - C'mon miracle
Old Man Gloom - Christmas
Xiu Xiu - Fab abs
Off Minor - Innominate
Shipping News - Three-Four
Blonde Redhead - Misery is a butterfly
Les Savy Fav - Inches
Chromatics - Plaster hounds
Black Eyes - Cough
Crowpath - Red on Chrome
Da Beez - Customer

Happy new year, I guess.

Apologies for the lack of updates but, truth be told, there hasn't been much going on label-wise. There's a new release planned but as it is not set in stone I will not speak of it any further.
Collections of Colonies of Bees have a new website and a new record (well, technically there's three different versions) out on Polyvinyl and Some of Us. Hopefully I'll get some copies to sell shortly. Their previous full-length fa.ce (a is availabe though.
Crowpath have released an amazing record called Red on Chrome on Willowtip and a CD collection of their early material on Robotic Empire (the 5" included).

It's been six months since the last update so I want to include a list of new DVDs that I wholeheartedly support: Arrested Development - Season 1, Aqua Teen Hunger Force - Season 3 and Home Movies - Season 1 (both available for preorder), Futurama - Season 4, Mr. Show - Season 4 and Strangers With Candy - Season 3 (what's up with changing the packaging though?). I get almost all my DVDs from dvdsoon.com. They didn't even pay me for that.

Almost forgot, here's my new address.

The new Xiu Xiu and Deerhoof LPs are finally in stock! They look and sound absolutely amazing. Also, both Love Lost But Not Forgotten CDs and The Plot To Blow Up The Eiffel Tower debut fullength. Those kids and their crazy bandnames. Bees member Jon Mueller has a brand new site up. It's so good that you can even make your own music with it. I forgot to mention that Mat Brinkman (who did the Bees cover) was featured with his comrades in issue 256 of The Comics Journal, it's a real interesting look at the birth, life and death of Fort Thunder. In label news, there's two releases planned and I hope to get them out before fall.

Please take ten seconds to sign the petition to save Home Movies. It's one of the best shows I've ever seen and Cartoon Network don't want to renew their contract for some reason. You can find more info about the show here and here. Also, you can find the show on most filesharing-thingies.

I'm working on adding a fully automated mega-awesome supersystem of paypal-ordering to the mailorder page. I'm gonna force one of my friends (yes, I have two) to design a new page for me as well. DIY my ass.

Deux nouveaux LPs en stock: Meerk Puffy's Nung et fullength de Young People premier, finalement disponible sur le vinyle!

The mailorder has been updated with tons of new records. All titles available from Free Porcupine Society (each record comes with a handcut and handpainted/silkscreened cover, they look amazing), some new stuff from Hydra Head and last but not least: 3 CDs from the mighty Pele! In about a month I'll get Xiu Xiu's "Fabulous muscles" LP (gatefold silkscreened cover, different from the CD) and in march I'll get the new Deerhoof "Milk man" LP in stock. On a sidenote, Deerhoof will be playing in Sweden this summer. I'll see you there.

Some news to wrap this year up... The Crowpath 5" is sold out, although there are a couple of distros who still have it. The songs are gonna be remastered and compiled with a bunch of other songs on a CD that Robotic Empire will release in January. Teratoid Heights, the amazing book by Mat(t) Brinkman is in stock and you should buy it. I only have 40 copies left of the limited edition Collections of Colonies of Bees CD, so get to it if you want one. You could also see the band in Japan on Pele's farewell tour and buy it directly from them, here are the dates:

01/12 Mon Shimokitazawa, JAP @ Shelter w/ Toe, 9 Days Wonder, Band Wagon.

Alright, the Collections of Colonies of Bees CD is out NOW! Pre-orders have been sent out and distributors will have their copies soon. Mailorder directly from me to get the limited edition covers (handnumbered out of 175). Pele broke up two weeks ago but will go out with a bang! In other words, a tour of Japan in january of 2004. Half the show will consist of Pele material, and the other half will "showcase" the new stuff that the Bees are working on. They added Jim Schoenecker to the mix and are going at it under the name of, you guessed it: Collections of Colonies of Bees.

I went out of my way to pick up the sleeves so I could ship out pre-orders today and have copies to sell at the Black Eyes show in Gothenburg on monday. Well well, guess if Bags Unlimited sent me the wrong size of sleeves? This shit is frustrating. Guess it'll be another week or so. My apologies to all concerned parties.

10|28|03
The Bees CDs are here. The covers are here. I'm buying lots of paper to xerox the inserts this week. The sleeves for the records have been ordered so this record will ship pretty damn soon. Also, my e-mail account has been down since friday (as well as random days all year) so if you've sent me anything and I haven't answered it, please send it again to: pepex@spray.se

10|18|03
The Bees CDs were shipped from Australieze last weez. It's like being held up at the finish line for weeks even though you've finished the race. Great new 7" in stock: part deux of The shameless kiss of vanity - a tribute to The Cure. Check the mailorder for more info.

09|30|03
As you may or may not have noticed, the site was down for about two weeks because of server problems. It's up on a temporary server now and it should work just as good. Some new stuff in the distro: An Albatross CD, Daughters CD and the Converge DVD.

09|16|03
All parts for the Collections of Colonies of Bees CD has been sent to the pressingplant in Australia today! Other nice kids in Australia are Måns and Thérèse, please take them to see koalas and give them money so they don't have work 10-hour days at squash-farms. They deserve better!

Covers for the Bees CD arrived this week and they are absolutely stunning. Looks like we'll get the record out this month as promised. There will be a limited cover available for mailorder (pre-orders will get this too) that is slightly different and it will also be handnumbered. I think it's around 100 copies, I've never been good at the math-thing. Also, I have the new Q and not U single in stock now (on both formats), ofcourse it's amazing and ofcourse it sounds way different than their last record. Check the mailorder for more info and prices. Don't forget, Family Guy season 3 comes out on September 9th! I'm thinking about adding a DVD review-section to the site. Write and tell me that it's a good idea.

Goody: New Q and not U 7". Garland of Hours CD. Forensics demo. Samyang Ramen spicy noodles. viva la vinyl!

08|18|03
I'm now accepting pre-orders for the Collection of Colonies of Bees CD! This record is amazing. Featuring three members of Pele doing something completly different and this even sounds new from the earlier Bees records. As mentioned earlier, Mat Brinkman has designed and will silkscreen the 2-colored cover. Prices and ordering info can be found in the releases section. There's some pics of the Crowpath shirt and canvasbag in the distrosection now.

Playlist: Futurama Season 2 DVDbox, Circus Lupus, Melvin Goes to Dinner.

Just when you had enough of the wrestlers I update the site with a more smacking design. More news later this week!

08|01|03
Not yet, but almost... The covers for the Bees CD are being designed and silkscreened by Mat(t) Brinkman of ye olde Fort Thunder fame. Check out his amazing comics here and buy his new book from Highwater! Do it now!
